Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Information We Collect
TermsDock collects minimal data to operate its services. When you use our tools, we may collect your IP address, a browser-generated anonymous identifier, and usage metadata (e.g., number of requests made) solely to enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID through OAuth 2.0. We use your email only to identify your account and your account ID to track your credit balance across sessions.
2. Document Content
The form inputs you provide to generate documents are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for processing. We do not store the content of your generated documents on our servers beyond the time needed to generate and return them to you.
3. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in (if you choose to log in) and a small anonymous identifier cookie (doc_uuid) for session tracking. We do not use tracking cookies or sell cookie data to third parties. If AdSense is enabled, Google may place its own cookies subject to Google's privacy policy.
4. Third-Party Services
- Google OAuth — used for optional sign-in. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Gemini AI — used to generate document content from your inputs. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense — we may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out at Google Ad Settings.
- Cloudflare — our infrastructure provider. Cloudflare may log requests at the network level. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
5. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and improve TermsDock tools
- To enforce daily usage limits and prevent abuse
- To maintain your account and credit balance (if signed in)
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties
6. Data Retention
Credit balance data is stored for up to 90 days of inactivity. Session data is cleared when you sign out. If you wish to have your account data removed, contact us and we will delete it within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
TermsDock is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of TermsDock after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
